Tired of living with anxiety about money?

Try this: just live very simply for 30 days. Make it a challenge, but make it fun.

Try things like:

Brown bag your lunch.

Get a Netflix membership and watch 10 great movies this month for under 10 bucks (instead of going to the movie theater).

Try shopping at a different grocery store, and see where you can find savings.

Instead of eating out, try cooking a fun recipe you've never tried before.

Be a Sunday newspaper ad watcher and a coupon clipper.

Use you noggin and use your imagination!

You should easily be able to save 200-500 bucks or more in 30 days (maybe a lot more). So then you'll know, if you really had to, how much you could cut in your yearly spending. That's nice to know. Then you can decide which of the changes you have made you wish to continue.

Good luck!
